Tahquitz Inn Pet Policy

 

The Tahquitz Inn wants everyone to enjoy their stay in Idyllwild, and to assure this goal we require that dog owners observe a few simple rules:

 

1)     Dogs should be led in and out of suites on a leash- we do not want an altercation with a neighbor whom your dog was “protecting” you from! Feel free to let your dog wander freely on the upper portion of the property (beyond the Pool) or in the meadow if you trust their behavior to be safe and appropriate off of a leash. All liability for your pet’s actions rests solely with you.

2)     DO NOT leave your dog unattended unless you are certain that they will not bark and disturb other guests, or destroy the suite and furnishings. (If your dog disturbs other guests you will be asked to leave. You will be billed for any damages.)

3)     ABSOLUTELY no dogs allowed inside the fenced pool area.

4)     Please clean up after your pet if they have made a ‘deposit’ on a paved area or in a flowerbed near the suites.

5)     Please do not throw our bedspreads or blankets on the floor for your dog to sleep on. They are not intended for this purpose, and additional charges will apply.
